Assistant professor in Internal Combustion Engines and Turbomachinery at the Department of Management and Engineering (UNIPD) since 2011. MSc in Mechanical Engineering in 1996 and PhD in Energetics (Design of Turbomachinery) in 2000 at UNIPD. Fellowship winner at the Italian National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN) in 1999. Post-doctoral and research fellowships at UNIPD from 2000 to 2010. He collaborated as leader or participant to several national projects and research contracts since 1998 on theoretical, numerical and experimental issues of turbomachinery, industrial combustors, and alternative fuels in internal combustion engines. ASME member since 2012 and member of the National Interuniversity Consortium of Materials Science and Technology – INSTM since 2014. Member of the TurboExpo Fan&Blowers Technical Committee and of the Scientific Advisory Committee for the Fan2018 International Conference. Author of more than 50 papers, most of which published on international journals or conference proceedings. Reviewer for international journals and congresses since 2007. Tutor of 1 Postdoctoral researcher, 2 PhD, and 62 BSc and MSc theses.
