Thomas Marchioro received his Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering in 2017 and his Master's degree in ICT for Internet and Multimedia (formerly Telecommunication Engineering) in 2019, both from the University of Padova. In 2023, he successfully completed his Ph.D. at the University of Crete. From 2019 to 2023, he served as a contract researcher at the Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH) in Greece.

During his Ph.D. studies, he undertook two secondments, one at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and another at the University of Cyprus.
