His research activity focuses on the evolution of the legal concept of responsibility (in particular examining the notion of prospective responsibility), on the evolution of legal sources and regulation, in particular regarding new technologies, privacy and "Responsible Research and Innovation".
He took part to the FP7 EU funded project Res-AgorA (Responsible Research and Innovation in a Distributed Anticipatory Governance Frame. A Constructive Socio-normative Approach) .
He has been Member of the European delegation at the China-Europa Forum 2010, topic: "Law and Justice; Rights and protection of individuals", workshop "Jurists’role and responsibility in the society".
He participated to the research group Droit, gouvernance et développement durable, Facultés Universitaires Saint-Louis, Bruxelles – Fondation Charles-Léopold Mayer.
Teacher of the courses Digital Citizenship and Law e European and Global Citizenships
(School of Political Sciences, University of Padua).

Thesis proposals

Students interested in writing the final dissertation under my supervision are kindly asked to contact me at least 6 months in advance, and are encouraged to propose a subject.

The collection and management of documentary sources is part of the work, so those who will conduct their work under my supervision shall use a documentation manager software in order to manage both the citations and the bibliography.

The program to be used is Zotero (http://zotero.org), I will provide the first steps throughs installation, configuration and use.
