Prof.Gatta Michela has worked as neuropsychiatrist in the Public Health Outpatient Service for Children And Adolescent with mental disorder -Azienda ULSS of Padova- since 2002.
Director of the Childhood, Adolescence and Family Unit in 2017 and 2018. Director of The Neuropsychiatric Unit at the University Hospital of Padua since Jenuary 2019.

She coordinates many trainers working in the research projects she run (study of the therapies' efficacy and patients' outcome; strategies of prevention for alcohol abuse, efficacy of multimodal intervention versus single one, familiar relational dynamics within families of psychiatric children and adolescents, psychological and psychiatric diseases in neurological pediatric patients, ...).
The results obtained in her research projects and studies in the field of clinical psychology, neuro
psychiatry and psychopathology of children and adolescents have been presented at many national and international congresses and have been published in many national and international journals (over 200 publications in the last 20 years)
