At present, he is teaching Measurement for Space and Space Robotics for Aerospace Engineering Master Degree. He is Technical Manager of SIMBIOS-SYS, an integrated experiment composed by High resolution camera, Stereo camera and a hyperspectral spectrometer, for BebiColombo ESA Mission. CO-I of OSIRIS and technical responsible for the WAC, a telescope of OSIRIS on board of the Rosetta ESA Mission. Member of Mars Exploration Program Advisory Group (MEPAG). Co-Pi of DREAMS, environmental and meteorological experiment for Exomars 2016. Co-I of JANUS, High resolution telescope for JUICE, ESA mission. Since October 2015 Director of CISAS "G. Colombo". The research experiences are mainly devoted to: design and implementation of instrumental set-ups for calibration and testing, modelling and uncertainty estimation of instruments, parameter identification on mechanical systems, conceptual and optimal design of instruments and automated mechanisms and robotics for autonomous labs, design and calibration of mechanism for space application. He is author of more than 300 papers published in International Journals with referee, and in Proceedings of International Congress with referee,7 abstracts and 5 posters to International Congress, 2 contribution on books.
