Riccardo Torchio was born in Padova, Italy, in 1992. He received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Padova, Padova, Italy, in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Padova and the Grenoble Electrical Engineering Laboratory (G2ELab), Université Grenoble Alpes, France, in December 2019. He is currently working with the University of Padova as an Assistant Professor (RTDb). His research interests include numerical methods, low-rank compression techniques, uncertainty quantifications, wireless power transfer applications, model order reduction, model predictive control, and the development of integral formulations for the study of low- and high-frequency electromagnetic devices. He is the author of several journal papers and the inventor of one national patent. He is also co-founder of a UNIPD spin-off.
