Research Area
The scientific activity consists of studies of a mineralogical nature with different methodologies and purposes:
- Crystal-chemical characterization of natural mineralogical phases for classification purposes
- Characterization of mineralogical phases and synthetic analogs (currently apatites and nanoparticles of iron oxides) with biomedical and environmental purposes
- Studies in high-temperature X-ray diffraction aimed at understanding mechanisms and phase transformation kinetics.
