CURRENT POSITION
B-type (tenure-track) Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Padova, Scientific Sector CHIM/07 “Chemical Fundamentals of Technologies”.

TEACHING ACTIVITIES
• “Elements of Chemistry”, Academic Year 2017/2018. The course is part of the curriculum of the degree in Energy Engineering.
• “Fundamentals of Chemistry for Bioengineering”, Academic Year 2017/2018. The course is part of the curriculum of the degree in Biomedical Engineering. The overall responsible of this course is Prof. Monica Dettin.

RESEARCH ACTIVITY
The research activity of Enrico Negro is focused on functional materials for advanced electrochemical energy conversion and storage systems (e.g., secondary batteries running on alkaline and alkaline-earth elements, polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs), high-temperature polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (HT-PEMFCs), anion-exchange membrane fuel cells (AEMFCs), direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs), redox flow batteries(RFBs)).

Since April 2005 Enrico Negro belongs to the group “CheMaMSE” (Chemistry of Materials for the Metamorphosis and Storage of Energy, http://www.chimica.unipd.it/lab_DiNoto/ ). “CheMaMSE” is active in the Department of Industrial Engineering and is coordinated by Prof. Vito Di Noto.
