RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
Responsible for various scientific research at UNIPD: 1 occasional self-employment contract (9 months), 5 research grants (5 years), and 7 scholarships (5 years).
Collaborated in various national/international research projects as a member of the UNIPD research team (e.g., national projects DPC-ReLUIS 2014-18, 2019-21, 2022-24; European project INSYSME 2013-16; transnational project POR F.S.E. 2019-20).
He has participated as a speaker in various national/international conferences, presenting more than ten papers in international conferences, and as an invited speaker in various international seminars.
He was a “Visiting Researcher” at TARRC research center, Hertford, UK (for 10 months), and at EERTC research center, Guangzhou University (for 6 months).
Main research activities concern: (1) passive dynamic control of structures and contents by seismic isolation and energy dissipation; (2) seismic behavior of structural and non-structural masonry elements, with special reference to second-order effects in bearing walls and seismic response of masonry infills; (3) seismic vulnerability and risk analysis for classes of buildings, and seismic vulnerability assessment of bridges.
He has published 27 papers in international scientific journals, more than 40 papers in national/international conferences, and 2 book chapters.

TEACHING ACTIVITIES
ABROAD
- Contract lecturer in charge at ENSTP, Yaoundé, Cameroon, for the course “Design of Structure” of the Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (2014-15) and for the course “Design of Structure” of the II-level Master in “Geotechnical and Structural Engineering” (2015-16).

ITALY
- Contract lecturer at UNIPD for the courses “Aseismic Design of Building Structures” (2017-18) and “Structural Engineering 2” (2018-19 to 2022-23), of the Master's Degrees in Civil Engineering and in Building Engineering, respectively.
- Currently (2023-24), lecturer in charge of the course “Seismic Response of Built structures” of the Master's Degree in “Geophysics for natural risks and resources”, and co-lecturer of the course “Structural Engineering 2” of the Master's Degree in Building Engineering.
