Assignments

The University may assign individual assignments, for needs that cannot be met with staff in service, to professional figures of proven competence, for temporary services that correspond to the competences attributed by the degree course regulations to the administration and to specific and determined objectives and projects, establishing in advance the duration, place, object and remuneration of the service.

The assignment of assignments to external figures normally takes place following comparative procedures and is possible only after it has really been ascertained that it is impossible to meet the need through the use of human resources present within the Administration.
Assignments are conferred with self-employment contracts (occasional or professional) or with coordinated and continuous collaboration contracts.

The stipulation of the contract is subject to the production of the personal data necessary for the application of current tax, social security and welfare regulations, by filling in the appropriate declaration prepared by the University. If the external figure identified is a public employee, he/she is also required to produce the authorization of the administration to which he/she belongs before the contract is signed.
The payment of the fee will be paid in a single instalment or according to the intervals established in the individual contract, subject to certification by the responsible coordinator that the service has been regularly performed. The effectiveness of the contract is subject to the positive outcome of the review of legality by the Court of Auditors, except in cases where it is exempt.
