Paediatric surgery

School of Specialisation for Doctors current degree regulations D. I. 68/15

The School in Paediatric Surgery trains specialists who have acquired theoretical, scientific and professional knowledge in the field of paediatric surgery; He also has specific skills in pathophysiology, functional and instrumental semeiotics and traditional and minimally invasive surgical therapy of the neonatal and pediatric age.

The training activities take place at the facilities of the School's training network, subject to the finalization of the agreements between the University of Padova and the reference health authorities.
The inclusion of the structures in the Training Network requires both ministerial accreditation and the completion of the agreement process with the University: only after the formalization of the agreement is the structure to be considered effectively part of the Network. To verify the effective inclusion of a structure in the training network and for updated information on the status of the agreements, it is necessary to contact the Specialization Schools Sector.

The School adopts a Quality Policy that ensures the provision of training activities with an approach aimed at meeting the needs of doctors in training, lecturer and non-lecturer staff, with a view to innovation and continuous improvement.   

Since 2019, the School of Specialisation in Paediatric Surgery has obtained the certification of its Quality Management System, in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard, by an international certification body. The validity of the certificate is subject to annual surveillance and a complete review of the company management system every three years.

The School has adopted a Didactic Regulations that specify the organizational aspects of the degree course, defined according to the indications of art. 6 of the Regulations of Specialisation Schools in the health area with access reserved for graduates in Medicine and Surgery issued with Rector's Decree no. 4208 of 5 December 2019, pursuant to D.I.68/2015.
