General Archives
The General University Archives is responsible for the receipt, classification and proper management of all the documentary material of the University of Padua, in compliance with regulations, ethical and quality standards, and good practices recognised nationally and internationally.
In addition to archival activities in the strict sense, the General Archives is also responsible for managing the University’s protocol registration system and certified email (PEC), and for publishing documents (such as calls, notices, decrees, etc.) on the Unipd Official University Notice Board.
The archival heritage that reflects, over the centuries, the history of the University of Padua is organised in the Historical Archive. Part of the materials can be consulted online, but it is also possible to access the documents in person, by appointment at Palazzo del Bo.
