Join the ARCA Summer School at the University of Padua and acquire advanced methodological and computational skills for your academic and professional success!
This summer programme will allow you to learn how to conduct experiments, analyse neural and behavioural data, and communicate the results effectively.
You will explore EEG, fNIRS, motion tracking, VR and brain-computer interfaces ina practical and interdisciplinary context and master Python, R, Quarto and Shiny Apps to immerse yourself in text analysis and machine learning.
This Summer school will allow you to connect with researchers from high-level institutions such as the Universities of Trento and Graz (Arqus Alliance) and to participate in seminars held by experts on neuroethics and emerging trends in cognitive neuroscience.

Module 1: Experimental design + neuroscientific methods (EEG, fNIRS, motion tracking, VR) Seminars on facial motion and emotion analysis
Module 2: Programming (Python, R), Fourth for Reporting, Shiny Apps, Text Analysis, ML - Includes a seminar on neuroethics

ECTS: 6, only for participants who attend both modules and pass the final exam
Fee: 500 euros per week / 20% exemption for students of partner universities / 50% exemption for Arqus students (including Unipd students). A maximum number of exemptions may apply.

The second call is open to EU and NON-EU candidates who do not require a visa to enter Italy for short-term stays.
