Degree Course in Sports Science
Academic year 2026-2027
On this page you will find information on access to the First-cycle/Bachelor's degree course with limited access taught in Italian in "Exercise Science".
There is only one selection; to compete for access, it is necessary to take an admission test in presence provided by the University of Padova.
The complete admission procedures are reported in the call for admission.
Please note: methods or timing of execution of procedures other than those indicated in the call for admission and on the pages of the university website to which it explicitly refers are not accepted.
Information on the conduct of the test is published in this section as required by the call for admission.
The rankings are published in this section as indicated in the call for admission.
The places available for access to the second and third years are published by June 2026.
The rankings will be published by September 2026.

The following information is intended to provide a general idea of the procedures for accessing the courses, to facilitate the carrying out of the planned steps. However, it is necessary to read the call for admission, the official document for access to the course.
To access the first year, it is necessary to pre-enrol and take the admission test.
The merit rankings are then drawn up: if you are admitted during the scrolling or repechage provided, it will be possible to apply for enrolment online, following the instructions on the dedicated page.
Procedures and periods for completing the procedures are reported in the call for admission.
Enrolment is completed ex officio with the assignment of the matriculation number within a few working days from the time it is submitted (complete with payment of the first instalment for the A.Y. 2026/27), after the necessary administrative checks.
Please note: those who access the course using a high school qualification obtained abroad must follow additional procedures for verifying the access qualification. For information on this, please refer to the call for applications.
The change of course to access the first year, at a procedural level, differs from standard enrolment only with regard to the final phase of the process: it is therefore necessary to participate in the selection like other candidates (pre-enrolling and taking the admission test), be admitted to the ranking and submit the online application for course change instead of standard enrolment.
There are economic implications with respect to the choice between course change and enrolment: information on this is available in a dedicated document, on page https://www.unipd.it/cambi-corso.
The change of course does not imply the automatic transfer of any exams/activities already taken from previous careers to the new one. Interested parties must submit a specific application for the recognition of credits online as indicated in the paragraph "In brief: Career shortening". The methods of access vary according to the recognitions and the year of admission proposed, the first or those subsequent to the first.
Information on the requirements and procedures to follow to request a course change is available on page https://www.unipd.it/cambi-corso.
Please note: those who access the course using a high school qualification obtained abroad must follow additional procedures for verifying the access qualification, as indicated in point 6 of the call for admission. The procedures for requesting a change of course are instead reported on page https://www.unipd.it/en/degree-programme-change
The transfer from another university to access the first year, at the procedural level, differs from standard enrolment only with regard to the final phase of the process: it is therefore necessary to participate in the selection like other candidates (pre-enrolling and taking the admission test), be admitted in the ranking and submit the online application for incoming transfer instead of the standard enrolment application. It is also necessary to follow the procedures for requesting an outgoing transfer to one's home university.
There are economic implications with respect to the choice between incoming and enrolment transfer: information on this is available in a dedicated document, on page https://www.unipd.it/trasferirsi-altro-ateneo.
The incoming transfer does not imply the automatic transfer of any exams/activities already taken from previous careers to the new one. Interested parties must submit a specific online recognition application as indicated in the paragraph "In brief: Career shortening". The methods of access vary according to the recognitions and the year of admission proposed, the first or those subsequent to the first.
Information on the requirements and procedures to be followed to request a transfer from another university is available on page https://www.unipd.it/trasferirsi-altro-ateneo.
Please note: those who access the course using a high school qualification obtained abroad must follow additional procedures for verifying the access qualification, as indicated in point 6 of the call for admission. The procedures for requesting the incoming transfer are instead reported on page https://www.unipd.it/en/transfer-from-italian-university
It is possible to request the recognition of certified academic and professional activities, exams taken (including abroad), as single courses or in previous university careers, so as not to have to take them again in the degree course that will be followed at the University of Padova.
The request for credit recognition must be submitted following a special online procedure, available approximately between June and the first half of July 2026. Information on how to proceed and exact dates are posted on page www.unipd.it/domanda-valutazione.
The commission in charge issues a resolution with the list of recognized exams/activities and the proposed year of admission:
- in the case of proposed admission to the first year , it is necessary to participate in the admission selections without any difference from those who have not requested the recognition of credits;
- in the case of proposed admission to a year of the course following the first , it is necessary to be admitted in the relative rankings that could be prepared based on the number of places available for each year of the course, as indicated in the call for admission. If not admitted, it is possible to participate in the selections for access to the first year without any difference from those who have not requested the recognition of credits.
The rankings are published on this page (for access to the first and subsequent years); In the case of admission, the application for enrolment, course change or incoming transfer must be submitted by following the instructions on page www.unipd.it/istruzioniaccesso-triennali-magistrali-ciclounico.
Recognized exams are included in the new career after enrolment and within the first exam session available for the A.Y.. 2026/27.
However, it is possible, even before submitting the application for credit recognition or obtaining the resolution, to participate in the selections for the first year in order to secure a place in the first year within the degree course. The career is then updated ex officio by inserting the recognitions present in the resolution and any enrolment in the year of the course following the first.
For questions and assistance regarding the submission of the application for recognition credits, the issuance of resolutions and the inclusion of recognized exams in the new career, you can contact the back office of reference for the course of your interest: www.unipd.it/backoffice-carriere-studenti.
Please note: those who access the course using a high school qualification obtained abroad must follow the procedures and meet the deadlines on page https://www.unipd.it/en/credit-recognition
