Senior scholars of the Studium Patavinum

The figure of "Scholar and senior scholar of the Studium patavinum" is conferred to enhance the contribution of the teachers who have ceased from service and who intend to continue their commitment to support the University of Padova. The request can be submitted by teachers within one year from the date of retirement.
The qualification of senior scholar has a symbolic value, without legal effects with regard to the establishment of employment relationships or work with the University of Padova. The senior scholar maintains a personal account on the www.unipd.it domain, with which they can receive e-mail, without time limitations, and access the services and resources, including online, of the University of Padova Library System (SBA).
