Statute

The statute contains the general principles of organization and functioning of the University, constituting the full expression of its autonomy, in compliance with the Constitution and the laws. It is approved by the Academic Senate and the Board of Directors, subject to the approval of the Ministry of University and Research.

The enactment of the current text (published in the Official Gazette general series no. 300 of 27 December 2011) was made necessary by the "Gelmini reform", which profoundly renewed the structure, procedures and functioning of universities (Law 240/2010).
