Dr. Ottavia Trevisan is a tenure-track researcher at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Pedagogy and Applied Psychology (FISPPA) at the University of Padua. Her research focuses on teacher education, pedagogical reasoning, and educational technologies, with particular attention to teacher digital identity and technology integration in educational contexts.
Dr. Trevisan leads international research projects and collaborations with institutions including Monash University (AU), University of North Texas (US), and Windesheim University (NL). She serves as Co-convenor of the European Emerging Research Group at the European Educational Research Association and is a member of the EdMedia Executive Committee (within the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education) and Editorial Manager for Computers & Education, and Excellence and Innovation in Learning and Teaching. She has received multiple awards for excellence in research and teaching, including the EAPRIL 2024 Best Practice-Based Research Award and outstanding paper awards at the Society for Information Technology & Teacher Education and EdMedia conferences.
