The mobility window is a structured mobility path within the study syllabus and therefore represents a very specific period, precisely a "window", often a semester, within which students have the opportunity to study abroad at a partner university.

The mobility window agreements differ from normal Erasmus flows because they are aimed at one or more specific courses of study, with very specific learning outcomes. Mobility windows can include a pre-established study plan at the outset, or a more flexible plan with the possibility of choosing all or part of the educational activities to be followed.

The University of Padova promotes this type of mobility with several partner universities, in Europe and around the world.
