About University Masters
Masters are post-graduate courses of scientific specialization and permanent and recurrent higher education that develop and expand previously acquired knowledge, translating it into professional skills. Normally they are structured, also in terms of organization and schedules, so that they can also be attended by people already in the world of work or research.
Master can be level I, which can be accessed if you have at least a three-year degree, or level II, for which a specialist degree, master's degree or the prior degree course regulations, prior to Ministerial Decree 509/99, is required.
Each master assigns 60 training credits. Classes start in November. For each master there is an enrolment fee to be paid by the student, which varies depending on the course. Attendance at the course must be at least 70% of the training activities, unless otherwise indicated in the individual sheets.
Several master require that at least part of the lessons and training activities be held in a foreign language; international master, established in collaboration with other foreign universities, are also included in the University's degree courses. In this case, part of the lessons are held by international lecturers, and students are required to acquire at least 30% of the training credits abroad at an international partner university. At the end of the course, a joint degree is issued, or a qualification legally recognized in all partner countries.
