Idem, for federated identity management

The University of Padova participates in IDEM (Federated IDEntity Management for access to services) for the implementation of the federated authentication and authorization infrastructure of the GARR network.

IDEM services and personal data

The updated list of web services accessible through federated authentication is:
https://www.idem.garr.it/servizi/sp

When accessing a service, the authentication system will always release the following personal data to the provider:

• an anonymous persistent and unique identifier that does not contain any personal information
• The role of the user (student, lecturer or T.A. staff, former student, collaborator)

Some services, specified in the list, require the system to also release to the provider:

• Name and surname
• institutional e-mail address (@unipd or @studenti.unipd.it)
