Libraries for global campuses

For July 7, 2026, the European university alliance Arqus, of which the University of Padua is a member, is offering an event as part of the Arqus Libraries of the Future Community of Practice series, hosted by Maynooth Library and available to follow online.

The topics covered include:

• How libraries can help our institutions make international students feel more welcome and support their success.
• How libraries can contribute to the international reputation of the Arqus institutions.
• How being active at the international level (with Arqus and other international organizations) benefits libraries and institutions.
• The skills and professional expertise required to engage successfully in all the activities mentioned above.

Speakers include people working in libraries, international offices, and international students from the universities of the Alliance.

Registration is free but mandatory.
