The Erasmus+ syllabus provides staff with grants for mobility periods at higher education institutions in European and non-EU countries participating in the initiative. For non-European destinations, mobility is possible provided that the University has signed an Erasmus+ KA171 agreement active for the reference year and funds are available.

Who can participate: technical-administrative staff (permanent and fixed-term, including all professional areas), collaborators and language experts (CEL) and fixed-term research technologists of the University of Padova.

Duration of mobility:

  • Mobility in the European countries participating in the Erasmus+ syllabus (KA131), Switzerland and the United Kingdom: minimum two days - maximum five days (excluding travel).
  • Mobility in non-European countries (KA171): cannot last less than five days (excluding travel).
  • Mobility of longer duration is eligible, but the excess days will be considered at "no cost" or financed by the structure to which they belong.

Contribution: calculated on the basis of the tables of the Erasmus+ Programme. Variable according to the distance between the University of Padova and the host campus (travel) and the cost of living of the destination country (stay). The contribution represents the maximum cost that can be reimbursed under the mission regime (reimbursement of expenses actually incurred) and can be supplemented by the structure to which it belongs.

How to participate: submit the online application (from 28 January 2026). For mobility to non-EU Partner Countries (KA171) there is a specific two-step procedure, with a prior expression of interest via email. The evaluation of the application is carried out by a committee, giving priority to those who have never benefited from an Erasmus+ Staff Training grant. The selection is based on the analysis of the Mobility Agreement and a Letter of Support from the Head of Structure that highlights the benefits for the University.

Deadline for applications: for the academic years 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 there are two calls:

  • I call: for activities to be carried out between 31 March 2026 and 31 January 2027, deadline Monday 23 February 2026 at 1 pm.
  • II call: for activities to be carried out between 2 November 2026 and 31 July 2027, deadline Tuesday 29 September 2026 at 1 pm.
