Academic Calendar
Each year, the life and activities of the University are structured according to the academic calendar, which lists the deadlines, requirements, and holidays of the University. The academic year begins on October 1 and ends on September 30 of the following year. It includes important dates and periods for students and all staff, such as exam sessions, holiday periods, and celebrations.

The University is closed on the Italian Public holidays and on the following dates:
- Christmas holidays: December 23, 2023 to January 7, 2024
- Easter holidays: March 29 to 2 April 2024
- Liberation Day: April 25 and April 26, 2024
- Labour Day: May 1, 2024
- Italian Republic Day: June 2, 2024
- Festa Giustinianea: 14 June 2024
- Patron Saints' days (according to the city where lessons are held; e.g. Padua 13 June, Treviso 27 April, Rovigo 26 November, Vicenza 8 September)
- Summer holidays (5 August to 17 August 2024)
Trimesters and semesters
Classes are organised either in semesters or in trimesters, depending on regulations that applies to the specific class. Every single class can begin/end in different dates within common intervals

Winter exam session: 4 December 2023 to 20 December 2023
Second trimester:
Classes: 8 January 2024 to 16 March 20234
Spring exam session: 18 March 2024 to 3 April 2024
Third trimester:
Classes: 10 April 2024 to 15 June 2024
Summer exam session: 17 June 2024 to 20 July 2024
Extra exam session: 19 August 2024 to 21 September 2024
Exam session reserved to students who will graduate by 14 December 2024: 1 October - 23 November 2024
