Become a tutor
Junior tutors are students in the final years of master's degree courses, or people enrolled in a PhD or specialist training programme, with a particularly outstanding University career. Their task is to provide information and resolve doubts and problems that students encounter in their University life, offering support with organisational and academic difficulties (study plans, exam prerequisites, relations with academic bodies, with the administrative office, etc.).
The new approach proposed by the University of Padua is to base tutoring on the peer relationship, on direct help between fellow students with more experience or with PhD candidates, to help students integrate as effectively as possible into the mechanisms and mindset of University study.

The assessments take into account academic merit, abilities and aptitudes, also evaluated through an interview. Read the calls for applications carefully, as they contain all the most important information

Anyone acting as a tutor must take part in training sessions in order to understand exactly what the assigned activity consists of and how to carry it out as effectively as possible. In addition, it is necessary to keep deadlines and information about the documentation in mind.
