Tutors are students and doctoral candidates who help other enrolled people throughout their university career, supporting them in their studies and providing them with information.
Becoming a tutor
Every year, a selection is held for those who wish to carry out tutoring activities with the University of Padua. The assessments take into account academic merit, skills and aptitudes, also evaluated through an interview.
Information and academic tutoring for degree programmes
Tutors provide other students with welcome services, organisational and teaching support, foster contact with lecturers, and help them find information, acting as facilitators, mediators and supervisors. They also coordinate supplementary teaching and support activities for particularly challenging examinations and teaching laboratories.
