Full Professor of Sociology of Economic Processes and Work at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Pedagogy, Applied Psychology. Graduated in Political Science at the University of Padova, he carried out his PhD in "Methodology of research in the human sciences" at the Department of Anthropological Sciences (DISA) of the University of Genoa. He is currently a lecturer in Sociology of Work (bachelor's degree) and Labour Systems and Migration (master's degree). He is a member of the Board of Directors of the PhD in Social Sciences, University of Padova. Since 2023 he has been Coordinator of the Sociology Section of the FISPPA' Department, he has been responsible for and has participated in various research at national and international level in the field of production relocations, migrant work in agriculture and the domestic sector, labor and production transformations in the maritime sector, the intergenerational transmission of social inequalities and forms of social cohesion. In particular, he is currently scientific responsible for the following research projects: "Shipping Off Labour: Changing Staffing Strategies in Globalized Workplaces", The Research Council of Norway (2020-24)." Labour in transition: job-skills development and firm innovation competencies" (Prin 2023-25)Scientific manager of the Release Plus project (Anti-Exploitation Legal Network), Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (FAMI) (2024-25). He has participated in numerous national and international conferences.
