Fixed-term Assistant Professor in the Scientific Disciplinary Sector: MEDS-26/A - Technical Sciences of Laboratory Medicine at the Department of Neuroscience-DNS, University of Padua, She graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology and obtained a PhD in Clinical and Experimental Medicine at the University of Padua. During his PhD he carried out research activities at the "Research Laboratories, Division of Immunology and Allergology", University of Ginevra.The scientific activity is focused on the study of the molecules and mechanisms underlying some degenerative and post-traumatic joint and musculoskeletal diseases. In particular, his research activity concerns the study of disease biomarkers and the evaluation of new molecules for the treatment of osteoarthritis, inflammation from pathogenic microcrystals, the development of new in vitro and in vivo experimental models for the study of musculoskeletal diseases, the study of molecules and mechanisms involved in the effects of balneotherapy in secondary lymphedema and in some degenerative musculoskeletal diseases. He is a lecturer in the degree courses in Physiotherapy, Obstetrics, Dental Hygiene and Osteopathy and in the School of Specialization in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine of the University of Padua.Co-inventor of 2 patents for industrial invention filed.
