The Director General may appoint persons for the performance of managerial functions through the stipulation of a fixed-term private law contract with external or internal subjects in possession of particular professional qualifications, identified following public selection.
Individuals must be in possession of at least one of the requirements set out in the University Regulations for the assignment of managerial functions (have held managerial positions for at least five years in public or private bodies and bodies or public or private companies or have acquired a particular professional, cultural and scientific specialization that can be deduced from university training, post-graduate, from scientific publications and concrete work experience gained for at least five years, also in state administrations, including the University of Padova, in functional positions provided for access to management or coming from the sectors of research, university teaching, judiciaries and the roles of lawyers and state prosecutors).
If the assignment is given to an employee of a Public Administration, the same during the period of performance of the assignment, he is placed on leave without checks with recognition of seniority.
