Within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), Mission 4: Education and research, Component: M4C2 From research to business, Investment 1.2: Projects submitted by young researchers, the Italian Ministry of University and Research has launched two calls, in 2022 and 2024, for funding projects presented by Young Researchers.
“Young Researchers” are either beneficiaries of ERC Starting grants, past Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellows, as well as researchers awarded with the MSCA "Seal of Excellence".

Within the 2022 call, 12 MSCA projects and 24 SoE Young Researchers’ projects were selected at the University of Padua, which ranked first among participating Host Institutions, both by number of eligible projects and by total amount of assigned funding.
