I am Associate Professor at the Department of Geosciences of the University of Padova since year 2005. I earned a Master Degree ("Laurea", 1998) and a PhD (2002) in Geological Sciences, then I received a Research Grant ("Assegno di Ricerca") at the University of Padova (2002-2005). My research is aimed at reconstructing the vegetational and sedimentary response to climate variability (both at milankovian and sub-milankovian scales) recorded in the Pliocene-Pleistocene stratigraphic record of Southern Italy and Sicily.
