Teaching and Inclusion

An Inclusive University

The University of Padua pays particular attention in the quality of teaching and its ability to create innovative possibilities for increasing its level of inclusivity.

Prof. Daniela Mapelli, Vice Rector of Teaching, and Prof. Laura Nota, Delegate for Inclusion and Disability,  have stressed the need to combine the efforts of teaching innovative ways to increase 'inclusiveness' and the capacity to consider diversification that increasingly characterizes the student population found in the classrooms of our university.

Over the course of several meetings, the Delegates of the Rectors developed the document ‘Inclusive teaching’ as a guideline.  Creating this guideline included the coordination of the Universities of the Triveneto for integration as well as the National University Conference of Delegates for Disability (CNUDD). On March 20, 2019, the events of creating this guideline also aimed at revising the guidelines of the CNUDD itself.
