Business administration graduates will learn how to work in organizations that need to change rapidly to unexpected changes and hence require the interaction of different functions.

  Course description

The Graduate course helps students to acquire competencies to work in specialized roles of directional nature in medium/large size manufacturing firms or trading companies, consultancies, intermediary financial firms and finally in  government and public service companies. The course prepares students to design strategies consistent within a competitive environment. Students acquire knowledge of the business processes and logic that inspire managerial choices.

The teaching style is interactive and enhances the involvement of all the students. During the two year-period student will have plenty of opportunities to work in groups to solve case studies, be involved in real-time simulationsmeet top managers, visit leading firms to see their operational processes and work on real business projects during internships in international and Italian firms.

  Course structure

The program has two curricula, one in management and the other in accounting and finance. The former is specialized in topics related to advanced marketing, operations and logistics, organizational development and behavior. The latter provides a training in advanced management accounting, corporate finance, and banking. Some courses related to strategic development and planning, advanced accounting, international law and management of M&A processes are common to both curricula.

The course is for students who want to acquire managerial and technical skills to work in firms or public institutions.

The course prepares students to work in private and public sectors in areas of:

  • Administration, finance and control specialists
  • Human resource management and work organization
  • Marketing, logistics and operations
  • Consulting firms, banks and insurance companies
  • Government and public service companies, business associations.

  Entry requirements

Candidates wishing to enroll in the second-cycle degree course in “Business Administration” are expected to hold a degree or a three-year Italian Diploma Universitario or other qualification earned in Italy or abroad recognized by the current legislation.

Candidates must have minimum credits in specific areas of study:

  • 30 ECTS with knowledge in one or more of the following areas: business administration, economics and business management, corporate finance, corporate organization, financial brokerage economics
  • 10 ECTS in economics, economic policy or public finance
  • 10 ECTS in Mathematics, statistics or econometrics.

Students must demonstrate competence in the following disciplines: Business administration, Microeconomics and macroeconomics, Accounting, Management control, corporate organization, Economics and business management, Marketing, and Commercial Law.

The total amount (euro 2600,00) can be significantly waived based on your “Equivalent Economic Status Index – ISEE”. For further information on how to obtain your ISEE and other income-based reductions, see Funding and fees - Key Documents.

Applicants receiving an offer of admission, either unconditional or conditional, will be asked to pay a tuition fee deposit of euro 185,00 within 30 days to secure their place on the programme.
