Sports and summer camps at Cus (for staff)

As part of the actions to promote well-being and sport and with the aim of encouraging widespread sports practice – even non-competitive – of students and staff at the CUS sports facilities, the University supports an enrolment campaign offering the possibility of free membership of the CUS for the current year to the entire university community. 

Membership of CUS Padova means having access to a wide range of activities, services and spaces for the practice of competitive and non-competitive sports activities, and recreational activities for all ages (fitness courses, urban dance, athletics, etc.).

The membership gives the opportunity to carry out free of charge, in certain time slots, no-pay activities using the spaces made available by the Cus (athletics, 5-a-side football, tennis, basketball, volleyball) and at special prices paid activities such as the various courses.

Access to the activities is governed by the Cus regulations available on the website www.cuspadova.it

It is possible to request free membership to the Cus by filling out a special online form.

Staff and students of the University who wish to participate in competitive sports events organized by the Italian Athletics Federation or its official affiliates, are offered the opportunity to request at any time of the year the official FIDAL federal membership to Cus Padova, at a rate of 30 euros.

Unipd staff, students can take advantage of discounts of up to 30% for the enrolment of their sons and daughters in the CUS Padova summer sports camps.
To guarantee and preserve the quality of the service, weekly places are limited.

Membership
Enrolment in the summer camps requires the membership of the person participating in the summer camp, whose cost is € 15 one-off. The membership includes basic and supplementary insurance, the t-shirt of the Summer Camps, a gadget and a discount voucher for sporting goods. From 6 years of age upwards, a sports medical certificate is required, even if not competitive.

The following projects are also active at the Via J. Corrado campus:

Since 18 September 2023, the SIT Move project has been active, the new after-school service that sees the collaboration between CUS Padova, Fondazione SIT – Sport, Inclusione, Talento and Cooperativa Bottega dei ragazzi.

The project aims to provide everyone with the opportunity to study, play sports and play within the same structure surrounded by greenery, discovering the field in which to best express their talent, in sport and in life.

What
Every afternoon SIT Move will guarantee assistance in homework, creative workshops of music, dance, art and theater and the opportunity to know, try and learn different sports, throughout the week, aiming for a training richer in motor stimuli and more complete by alternating individual sports and team sports, ranging from athletics to rugby, from fencing to judo, from basketball to ultimate frisbee.

For whom
The service is designed for girls and boys, girls and boys between the ages of 6 and 14 (born between 2017 and 2009). For enrolment it is necessary to have a medical certificate for non-competitive sporting activity.

When
SIT Move will be active from 18 September and will guarantee the possibility of spending every afternoon, from 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm, from Monday to Friday, from September to June, in a safe, healthy and stimulating space.

SIT Move will take place inside the Cus Padova facilities in via Jacopo Corrado, 4.

There is the possibility to participate in SIT Move from 2 to 5 afternoons per week.
The hours are full-time from 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm, the part-time one is from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm.
One-off Cus Padova membership fee: 15 euros.

Discounts are available (not cumulative):

• 15% for employees of the University of Padova and for members of Cus Padova.
• 15% for registrations of more than one brother and sister.
• 15% for those who participated in the Cus Padova 2023 Summer Camps.
• 15% for those who enroll in a term.
