COVID-19 special benefits 2020-2021

The University of Padua allocates 15 million euros to students over academic year 2020/21 providing: free internet for one year, public transport and rent subsidies, refunds for laptop purchase.
Such extraordinary measures are added to the traditional wide range of scholarships, awards, and actions aimed at reducing tuition fees.

  Internet free of charge

Unipd supports you and provides you with a SIM card with 60GB data per month for the entire academic year 2020-2021 if you are:

  • a first-year student
  • a student behind with your studies by one year
  • a student behind with your studies by more than one year (with an ISEE lower than €50,000, and 10 ECTS credits acquired during calendar year by 10 August)

Use the platform to find out the telephone service provider's shop where to pick up your SIM card (in the Triveneto area and Emilia-Romagna region), or type in your address and receive it at home.

Unipd will activate the SIM cards starting from 15 September 2020 or following such date within 4 working days from activation on the platform.

The SIM card provides you with up to 60GB data per month for 12 months (missing payment of tuition fees or withdrawing from studies are reasons for the SIM card to be deactivated).
