BACHELOR's DEGREE - duration 3 years, 180 credits
It ensures an adequate mastery of methods, general contents and specific professional knowledge. The academic qualification of doctor or doctor is obtained.
Professional DEGREE - duration 3 years, 180 credits
It is a new type of course of study that includes two years of university training and one year dedicated to traineeship or periods in the company to train highly specialized professional figures required by the labor market (graduate surveyors and experts in organic plant production).
SINGLE-CYCLE MASTER'S DEGREE - duration 5 or 6 years, 300 or 360 credits
It is a degree course that is divided into a single cycle of 5 or 6 years and those who graduate obtain the academic qualification of doctor or master's doctor. It is provided for courses in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Law, Building Engineering-Architecture, Primary Education Sciences.
MASTER'S DEGREE - duration 2 years, 120 credits
It provides advanced training for the exercise of highly qualified activities in specific areas. It is accessed after graduation and a minimum degree grade and specific curricular requirements indicated in the admission notices may be required. The academic qualification of Doctor or Master's Degree is obtained.
FIRST LEVEL Interministerial Decree MASTERS - at least 1 year, 60 credits
These are courses of scientific specialization and permanent and recurrent higher education, aimed at providing specific professional skills.
PHD
It can be accessed only after a master's degree and by passing an entrance exam; It lasts 3 years, at the end of which the academic qualification of Doctor or PhD is obtained. The goal is the acquisition of a correct methodology for advanced scientific research.
Interministerial Decree SPECIALIZATION DIPLOMA
It is obtained by attending a course lasting a maximum of 6 years, after obtaining a master's degree, and confers the qualification of specialist. The specialization course provides knowledge and skills for the exercise of highly qualified professional activities, particularly in the field of medical, clinical and surgical specialties, but also in other contexts.
SECOND LEVEL Interministerial Decree MASTERS - at least 1 year, 60 credits
These are courses of scientific specialization and permanent and recurrent higher education, aimed at providing specific professional skills.
UNIVERSITY CREDITS
University credit (university credits (ECTS credits)) is the unit of measurement of the effort required in terms of study or learning activities.
A credit conventionally corresponds to 25 hours of commitment. The credits provided for each course unit or teaching activity are acquired once the exam has been passed or the activities have been completed, regardless of the grade obtained.
Interministerial Decree STUDY CLASSES
They are groupings of courses of study of the same level having the same learning outcomes and the same essential training activities.
Within the classes, each university defines the name of the course and the educational activities of the study plan. The ministerial field of study code allows you to compare courses of study with different names activated in the various universities.
ACCESS TO INTERMINISTERIAL DECREE COURSES
Open Access Courses
These are the courses that do not limit the number of people enrolled but there is still a assessment of knowledge. In case of failure, it is possible to enroll with additional additional learning requirements (OFA) to be fulfilled within the first year of the course.
Courses with limited access ( national or local limited number)
These are the courses that have limitations on the number of enrolments: it is mandatory to take an admission test and be placed in the ranking list.
