Information on the processing of personal data
[Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 - General Data Protection Regulation]
This information is provided pursuant to art. 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter EU Regulation), in relation to personal data that the University of Padova (hereinafter University) comes into possession of in order to inform interested parties of the opening of calls relating to the University's degree courses and related services through the use of applications available on social networks (hereinafter applications).
The processing of personal data is based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of confidentiality and all the rights of the interested parties, as specified in the following information.

Interministerial Decree MODALITIES FOR THE EXERCISE OF RIGHTS
To exercise their rights, the interested party may contact the Data Controller, by writing to the address of the legal campus or by sending an e-mail to the certified e-mail address amministrazione.centrale@pec.unipd.it or to the e-mail address socialmedia@unipd.it.
The Data Controller is required to provide a response within one month of the request, extendable up to three months in the event of a particularly complex request.

SOURCES AND TYPES OF DATA
The personal data collected by the applications used by the University, independently or through third parties, are: cookies, usage data, email, name, surname. In order to know the personal data actually processed, the interested party may refer to the specific processing methods illustrated in point 6 ("Methods and place of data processing").
Personal data is freely provided by the data subject or, in the case of social network usage data, collected automatically during the use of the applications.
Any use of cookies - or other tracking tools - by the applications or the owners of third-party services used by the University's applications, unless otherwise specified, has the purpose of providing the service requested by the data subject, in addition to the additional purposes described in this document and in the Information for the processing of personal data related to the website.
The user assumes responsibility for the publication or sharing of the personal data of third parties through the applications used by the University and guarantees that he/she has the right to communicate or disseminate them, freeing the Data Controller from any liability towards third parties.
PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING
The data of the interested party are collected to disclose information and calls relating to the University's degree courses, through remarketing and behavioral targeting activities, contact management and sending messages to contact the user, in the manner indicated in point 6.
Personal data will be processed exclusively to inform interested parties of calls relating to the degree courses and related services of the University.
METHODS AND PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING
The processing of data is carried out in such a way as to guarantee maximum security and confidentiality and may be carried out using manual, computer and telematic tools suitable for storing, managing and transmitting them, even in an automated way.
The processing will be carried out in compliance with the limits and conditions set by the EU Regulation and includes: collection, recording, organization, profiling, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, cancellation and destruction of data.
Personal data is collected in the following ways and using the following services:
a) Contact the data subject via the contact form (this application)
By filling in the contact form with his/her data, the interested party consents to their use to respond to requests for information, quotes, or any other nature indicated by the form's header. Personal data collected: surname; Email; Name.
b) Managing contacts and sending messages
This type of service allows you to manage a database of email contacts used to communicate with the data subject. These services may also make it possible to collect data relating to the date and time of viewing the messages by the data subject, as well as the interaction of the data subject with them, such as information on clicks on links included in the messages.
c) MailUp (MailUp)
MailUp is an address management and email messaging service provided by MailUp S.p.A.
Personal data collected: name and surname; Email.

d) Facebook Lookalike Audiences (Facebook, Inc.)
PRIVACY SOCIAL NETWORK UNIVERSITY OF Interministerial Decree PADUA
Facebook Lookalike Audiences is an advertising and behavioral targeting service provided by Facebook, Inc. that uses data collected through Facebook's Personalized Audiences service in order to show advertisements to users with similar behaviors to users who are already on a Custom Audience list based on their previous use of this application or their interaction with relevant content through Facebook's applications and services. Based on this data, personalized ads will be shown to users suggested by Facebook Lookalike Audiences. Data subjects can opt out of the use of Facebook cookies for ad personalization by visiting this opt-out page.

e) Facebook Remarketing (Facebook, Inc.)
Facebook Remarketing is a remarketing and behavioral targeting service provided by Facebook, Inc. that connects the activity of this application with the Facebook advertising network.

f) Facebook Custom Audiences (Facebook, Inc.)
Facebook Custom Audiences is a remarketing and behavioral targeting service provided by Facebook, Inc. that connects the activity of this application with the Facebook advertising network. Data subjects can opt out of the use of Facebook cookies for ad personalization by visiting this opt-out page.

LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING AND NATURE OF THE PROVISION
The processing of personal data is carried out on the basis of the consent that the interested party actively expresses by selecting the appropriate box, pursuant to art. 6, par. 1, letter a), EU Regulation, even though these are activities that the University carries out in execution of its public interest.
The provision of data is necessary to receive information material from the University of Padova.
RECIPIENTS
The data are communicated to the staff of the University and to independent collaborators, professionals and consultants, who provide support activities for the creation and management of promotional communications, within the scope of their respective functions, in accordance with the instructions received and only for the achievement of the specific purposes indicated in point 5.
The data are also communicated to the company MailUp, appointed as Data Processor pursuant to art. 28 of the EU Regulation, whose contact details can be found in the privacy policy published on the company's institutional website.
DATA RETENTION
Personal data are stored for the entire period necessary for the pursuit of the purposes indicated in point 5 and in any case no longer than 24 (twenty-four) months from the time of collection. PRIVACY SOCIAL NETWORK UNIVERSITY OF Interministerial Decree PADUA
At the end of the retention period, all personal data collected is deleted or otherwise anonymised.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
The data subject has the following rights:
a) the right of access to their personal data (Article 15 of the EU Regulation);
b) the right to rectification or integration of his/her data (art. 16 of the EU Regulation);
c) right to erasure (right to be forgotten), under the conditions indicated by art. 17 EU Regulation;
d) right to restriction of processing, under the conditions indicated by art. 18 EU Regulation;
e) right to data portability, as governed by art. 20 EU Regulation;
f) the right to object at any time to the processing (Article 21 of the EU Regulation);
g) the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
