Unipd. A new pathway for the internationalisation of departments

"From strategies to actions, through a closer dialogue between ARI and Departments": this is the principle guiding "Internationalisation in the Departments", the new initiative promoted by the International Relations Area (ARI) of the University of Padua to strengthen strategic coordination between the University and its 32 departmental structures.

The initiative includes a series of meetings dedicated to the main areas of internationalisation, with direct discussion on international mobility, agreements with foreign partners, the reception of students and visiting scholars, administrative procedures and the sharing of good practices.

The initiative is based on the analysis of data and indicators, on the strategic plans of the Departments and on the assessment of international mobility trends, with the aim of identifying concrete and shared actions. In this initial phase, the Departments DAFNAE, DM, DPG, SDB, DISLL and DTG are involved.

The initiative will be progressively extended to all Departments over the course of three years, with the aim of enhancing the specific features of the different disciplinary areas, strengthening collaboration between ARI and departmental structures, and developing an organisational model that is increasingly effective and responsive to the needs of the Departments.
