Leadership skills are fundamental abilities in professional contexts: the capacity to collaborate and make shared decisions is a key element for the well-being and effectiveness of work groups.

The Human Technology Lab (HTLab) of the University of Padua is offering “Let Me Be a Leader!”, an experiential training programme designed for workers who wish to challenge themselves and improve their soft skills. Two free sessions, dedicated to collaboration, communication, problem-solving and teamwork.

The sessions, one week apart, are organised in small teams of 4 people. During the activities, each group will be involved in the construction, programming and testing of a small Lego robot. Each team will work together to achieve a common goal, experiencing first-hand dynamics of leadership, coordination, communication, problem-solving and collaboration.
The initiative will take place at the HIT research centre, at Corso Spagna 32 (Padua), and each session will last about 2 hours.

“Let Me Be a Leader!” is part of a study conducted by the Human Technology Lab, Department of General Psycology of the University of Padua, dedicated to the development of innovative methodologies for leadership skills training in workplace contexts. Taking part therefore means having a free training experience and, at the same time, contributing to scientific research applied to the world of work.

For those who take part in both sessions, a small reimbursement is provided.
It will be possible to participate in July and September.
