11 departments of excellence: funding of 90.9 million euros

Eleven departments of excellence for the University of Padua. The MUR selection (Ministry of University and Research) therefore rewards our University once again: the 11 selected departments will in fact receive total funding of 90.9 million euros for the years 2023-2027.

Thanks to this result, the University of Padua ranks among the select group of the five best Italian universities.
The selected departments of excellence are:
- Physics and Astronomy “Galileo Galilei”
- Chemical Sciences
- Geosciences
- Biomedical sciences
- Biology
- Medicine
- Comparative Biomedicine and Food Science
- Agronomy, Animals, Food, Natural Resources and Environment
- Civil, Building and Environmental Engineering
- Linguistic and Literary Studies
- Economics and Management
