Music and entertainment
In Padova there is no shortage of opportunities to listen to good music, or to participate in one of the countless cultural activities: you can find information on the pages dedicated to events. And thanks to the Study in Padova CARD it is also possible to get promotions and discounts.
Within the University, the Concentus Musicus Patavinus has been active since 1978, which currently includes a symphony orchestra, a big band, an ensemble of traditional Irish music, several choirs from medieval to contemporary music, all open to the participation of the university community and citizens.
The Asclepio Orchestra - Doctors for Music is instead an orchestral and chamber ensemble composed of students, teachers and collaborators of institutions operating in the health field in Padova, aimed at promoting the art and culture of music as an instrument of malute.
The University also actively collaborates with various musical associations, such as the Amici della Musica, and the Art Center of the University of Padova, which brings international artists to Padova every year. In addition to being one of the venues of the Teatro Stabile del Veneto, Padova hosts numerous other theatrical companies and institutions, such as the TAM teatromusica and the University Theater Center and the Ruzante Teatro company.
Universitari a Teatro is an initiative of the Teatro Stabile del Veneto that allows university students in the Veneto region to see the shows of the prose season staged in the Goldoni theaters in Venice, the Verdi theaters in Padova and the Del Monaco theaters in Treviso for a symbolic fee of €5.
UAT tickets and subscriptions online can only be purchased online by following the procedure indicated on the theater's website.

Concentus Musicus Patavinus for "Padova Urbs Picta", a UNESCO World Heritage Site
"The Harmony of the Universe" is a video recorded by Fabio Framba and directed by Marco Ramin. For this project, American composer Randall Stroope composed a choral piece set to a Latin text inspired by the constellations and the Zodiac. The work was performed in July 2026 in the Great Hall of Palazzo della Ragione by the Chamber Choir of the University of Padua's Concentus Musicus Patavinus, conducted by Ignacio Vazzoler.
