Slow Looking at Museo Eremitani

Two appointments, one artwork at a time.
At the museum we look at artworks for just a few seconds. Here we slow down and relearn the art of observing.
Through the practice of Slow Looking, the Comune di Padua invites visitors to explore the paintings of the Museo d'Arte Medievale e Moderna (Museo Eremitani) by focusing on a single artwork and its details, trying to overcome the overload of stimuli in the museum.
An experience of slow and mindful observation that invites us to rediscover the time to look at art, creating a personal and emotional connection with the artwork.
You do not need to know anything about art: curiosity and the desire to observe are enough, to let yourself be surprised and share the pleasure of dedicating time to things.
The activity is entirely free of charge, but booking is compulsory.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early at the ticket office of the Museo Eremitani.
