3D organs at MUSME

On Friday, August 7, 2026, from 7 to 7:45 p.m., at the MUSME – Museum of the History of Medicine in Padova, as part of Notturni Padovani, a workshop dedicated to the observation of some of the most important human organs through virtual reality will be held.

The event, open to the public, takes place on the museum's campus, in via San Francesco 94, and is inspired by the course unit of Andrea Vesalio, father of modern anatomy, who in the sixteenth century, during his lessons in Padova, emphasized the importance of direct observation of the human body to understand its structures.

Durante the activity, thanks to the Oculus VR headsets, you can closely observe the brain, heart and lungs, discovering their shape and functioning in 3D, with an immersive and engaging experience.

The visit, lasting 45 minutes, is designed for families with girls and boys aged 10 and over. 

The price includes admission to the museum and the educational experience with VR headsets.

The cost is equal to the entrance ticket plus 4 euros for the guided tour: 16 euros for the full ticket, 12 euros for over 65s and teachers, 10 euros for young people aged 4 to 17 and students up to 26 with a university card. For children from 0 to 3 years old, people with disabilities, journalists, tour guides and visitors on their birthday, the cost is 4 euros.

The activity will be activated upon reaching a minimum of 10 participants.
