Nights in Padua at the Morgagni Museum

The Museo Morgagni di Anatomia Umana, in the Pathological Anatomy section, opens its doors to visitors with two special events as part of Notturni Padovani 2026: Tuesday, June 30 and Tuesday, September 8, from 5 to 6 p.m.
The guided tour starts from the museum entrance, at via Aristide Gabelli 59, and takes visitors on a discovery of more than 1,300 pathological specimens connected to the history of medicine and the University of Padua.
The collections, preserved using different techniques, including dry preparations, liquid preservation, and tanning, recount the diseases that have characterized human beings from the past to the present day and testify to the evolution of prevention and treatment.
The tour includes human remains with advanced pathologies, congenital anomalies, and bodily alterations; for this reason, the visit is not recommended for children under 16, pregnant women, and particularly sensitive individuals. Photographing the specimens is not permitted inside the museum.
The visit lasts approximately one hour.
The booking fee is 3 euros per person, with limited places and mandatory online booking; payment is made by credit card at the end of the procedure.
