From 19 to 27 July, between Padua and Cortina d’Ampezzo, the first edition of the STIMA International Summer School – Engineering Beyond Boundaries is taking place, promoted by the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Padua.
About thirty students from nine countries are taking part in a week of training dedicated to the most advanced topics in engineering, innovation and the relationship between universities and industry.
The programme includes lectures, multidisciplinary activities, visits to companies and centres of excellence, including Luxottica, Unox and SMACT Competence Center, as well as cultural events and excursions in the Dolomites.
The name STIMA refers to Science, Technology, Innovation, Mathematics and Arts and represents the School’s objective: to integrate scientific and humanistic skills in an international and multidisciplinary educational experience.
