Dì Salute Weekend 2026

For two days, Prato della Valle is transformed into a large village dedicated to health, with check-ups, specialist consultations, informative talks, workshops and activities devoted to the wellbeing of body and mind. Among the new features of the 2026 edition, the collaboration with Alzheimer Fest stands out: on Sunday, it becomes part of the programme with events dedicated to memory, fragility, inclusion and the culture of care. This meeting brings together two realities united by the desire to put the person at the centre and to build community through information, participation and sharing.

Dì Salute Weekend offers an extensive programme of free check-ups, screenings and consultations. The areas covered include cardiovascular, vascular, oncological and dermatological prevention. There are also checks dedicated to eyesight, hearing, the respiratory system, thyroid, liver, kidneys, osteoporosis and nutrition, without overlooking movement and musculoskeletal health. Space is also given to fertility and sexual and reproductive health, with specialist consultations and particular attention to the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases.

Dì Salute Weekend is not only an opportunity to have health checks. Alongside the clinical activities, there is a rich programme of talks and meetings with doctors, research staff and professionals; practical workshops dedicated to prevention and first aid, with BLSD activities and paediatric life-saving manoeuvres; and experiences designed to introduce people to the world of medicine and diagnostics, including in interactive ways. 

Part of the programme is always dedicated to psychophysical wellbeing and prevention through movement and awareness: Sunday morning’s Yoga Awakening returns, together with multisensory mindfulness with augmented reality and the Metabolic Walk. Among the new features, particular note should be made of the new performance Somacultura, which concludes at the Orto Botanico, and the guided walk among medicinal herbs and plants.
