From data to action: statistical methods for anti-corruption

How can data and statistical methods help promote transparency and integrity in public administration? The webinar From data to action: statistical methods for anti-corruption aims to answer this question. It is scheduled for Friday 24 July 2026 at 14:30, online on the Microsoft Teams platform.
The initiative is dedicated to presenting the best projects carried out by students on the master's degree programme in Statistical sciences as part of the Statistics Laboratory with Companies, a pathway that brings university education and the world of work into contact through the development of innovative solutions to real problems.
After opening remarks by Lorenzo Segato, Research Director at RE-ACT, Department of Statistical Sciences lecturers Francesco Denti, Mariangela Guidolin and Stefano Mazzuco will present the Laboratory and introduce the selected projects. Afterwards, students will be able to discuss their proposals with representatives of the Autorità Nazionale Anticorruzione (ANAC).
