The second part of the Centrodarte26 season begins again in October, with seven concerts and one film.

Centrodarte26 is presented with the support of the University of Padua and the Ministry of Culture, with contributions from the Comune di Padova and Fondazione Cariparo, as well as a media partnership with Rai Radio 3.

It begins on 2 and 3 October, at 9.00 p.m., at Fronte del Porto for the third edition of Audiomanzia, a festival dedicated to contemporary electroacoustic music. On 3 October, the spotlight is instead on Nicolas Collins and Birgit Ulher with “!trumpet & trumpet!”, followed by “Interference” by Mariam Gviniashvili, an audiovisual work for eight channels and video.

On 4 October, again at Porto Astra, there will be a special screening of “Sisters with Transistors”, a documentary recounting the long-forgotten story of the women musicians who played a pioneering role in the development of electronic music.

On 18 October at Teatro Torresino, Rafael Toral (guitar, electronics) arrives, one of the most original figures in European sound research.

On 16 November, again at Teatro Torresino, Centro d’Arte presents Artifacts, a trio made up of Nicole Mitchell (flute), Tomeka Reid (cello) and Mike Reed (drums).

For students of the University of Padua, concert tickets are available for 1 euro.
