Building Bridges across Bronze Age Eurasia

Wednesday 22 July 2026, Sala Scattola will host the international workshop Building Bridges across Bronze Age Eurasia, organized by Margarita Gleba (Unipd) and Maria Khayutina (LMU).
This workshop brings together international scholars from China, the United States, Germany, and Italy to foster an intercultural dialogue on the methodological and thematic challenges of Bronze Age studies in Eurasia.
The discussions focus on four main themes: chronological frameworks, Bronze Age terminology, demographic dynamics, and the production and circulation of bronze. By comparing different regional perspectives and methodological traditions, the workshop aims to identify shared analytical tools and build a common vocabulary for future collaborative research.
Admission is free.
