The Centro studi Ambiente alpino "L. Susmel" of the University of Padua, in San Vito di Cadore, is hosting the ecology course “60 years of ecology without borders” from 26 to 28 August 2026, marking six decades of research, dialogue and vision.
This edition of the course features, in particular, a special afternoon dedicated to Prof. Lucio Susmel, in honour of the sixtieth anniversary of the course; major international guests, including Stuart Chapin III, author of landmark texts in ecology, and many others.
Most of the days will be conducted in English.
Participation is free of charge, including for just one day, subject to online registration (registration closes on 3 August 2026).
Places are limited: maximum 50 participants.
