THE CULTURE OF INCLUSION AND ACCESSIBILITY

Unipd promotes actions aimed at building an inclusive environment that aims to involve all members of the academic community in sharing a wider, inclusive, fair and social justice-centred culture.

Unipd's network of friendly, widespread, and natural support is made up of teachers, students, staff and about thirty contact persons for Inclusion and Disability spread across departments. Every year Unipd trains tutors for inclusion to focus on equal opportunities, social justice and inclusion: in case of disabilities, learning difficulties, health problems and other obstacles, Unipd collaborates with family members and local services to identify customised supports. Great attention is given to accessibility in its various connotations: lessons, study materials, documents, facilities, always in accordance with current regulations in place.
