A recently approved course that reflects upon the legal side of the most significant issues of the digital revolution. The course aims at training students in becoming competent professionals in both legal and IT as well as engineering and economic matters. The course recognises contemporary challenges by offering interdisciplinary teaching methods of different languages and disciplines. Students will follow lessons on data protection and privacy, commercial practices, digital impacted, changes in administrative structure and much more. After a two-year period, students may choose to continue their educational track in business economics, administrative accounting, or information technology. Students will be ready to pursue work as a freelancer, as well as in private and public institutions in fields with a medium of high level of digitalization, or as Industrial Property Consultants.

Characteristics and objectives
The Program tackles the core issues of the digital revolution. Reflecting the most pressing economic, institutional, and social needs, it blends legal culture with data science, engineering, and economic profiles, building bridges among disciplines that use different categories and languages.
The core of the Program revolves around the most critical legal components of the technological and digital progress, covering the theoretical and practical angles of privacy and data protection, commerce and liability, the judicial process and state administration. The Program tackles also the economic and entrepreneurial aspects of the digital revolution, thereby making student knowledgeable about the digital impact on economic activities. Finally, the Program secures the students' literacy in technology and data science, with a special focus on their main aspects, such as web technologies and blockchain.
The Program's third year offers three alternative tracks, all of which include an internship period. The legal track revolves around several issues of law and data. The economic track focuses on companies' business models and reporting, preparing the students for administrative and accountability tasks. The data science-digital track strengthens the students' technical skills in the fields of digitalization and data science.

Occupational opportunities
Graduates in Law and Technology may become independent professionals as well as employees in private and public institutions in fields with a medium or high level of digitalization. They work in the areas of data protection and privacy compliance, cybersecurity, e-commerce and smart contracts. If qualified as Industrial Property Consultants, they can protect intellectual properties in the fields of data. They handle the legal profiles of data science-based advertising and customer loyalty building.

Students who graduate in this program can be admitted to the following Master's programs:
